Building Quality Detection Station(BQDS) of Central Research Institute of Building and Construction(CRIBC, Mcc Group), is a most strength BQDS in Shanghai. She is a branch organization of CRIBC in Shanghai, and share the resources of State Engineering Technical Research Center for Industrial Building Diagnosis Rehabilitation and Innovation, Test Center of Engineering Quality Supervision Station of Metallurgical Industry of CRIBC.

We have finished large numbers of detection work in shanghai, such as the Children’s Palace of China People Welfare Foundation Organization, Main Buildings of Shanghai LongHua temple, Shanghai  Christianity Thanksgiving Hall, Main Building of Shanghai Physical Education University which is old Shanghai’s special State Hall, Shanghai Grand Theater ( which are all protective building in Shanghai). We have rich experience in detection of large industrial building and civil building.

Central Research Institute of Building and Construction, MCC Group(CRIBC) (former name was Central Research Institute of Building and Construction, Ministry of Metallurgical Industry), was founded in November 1955, is a major comprehensive research organization in China specializing in the fields of civil engineering and environmental protection. Following the State Department requirements of scientific system reformation on research institutions, CRIBC turned into a scientific enterprise and became one of the members of China Metallurgical Construction Group Corporation in July 1999. There are more than 1000 various technicians, including 500 of professors and senior engineers in the institute. Since the establishment of CRIBC, there are more than 2000 research results have been achieved, includes more than 600 State Scientific Progress Award and Provincial and Ministerial level Awards.200 professional, national regulations, and codes have been compiled and revised. 3 national first class societies and many second level professional associations are located in CRIBC. 3 technical scientific periodicals are sponsored, and CRIBC is qualified for 4 master degree granting and 1 doctor degree granting.

Test Center of Engineering Quality Supervision Station of Metallurgical Industry was established in 1987,which passed the metric accreditation of State Technology Supervision Administration, and is one of the well known test units in China who can carried out large scale comprehensive test items in the construction engineering.

State Engineering Technical Research Center for Industrial Building Diagnosis, Rehabilitation and Innovation is the sole national level engineering technical research center in the civil construction diagnosis and treatment technology fields, which is also in the domestic advanced position in the fields of construction engineering quality test; reliability evaluation on civil construction structure; structure improvement and rehabilitation; high efficient pre-stressed project; containment structure test and evaluation for nuclear power plant; dynamic and static test on large scale engineering structure; durability protection materials and the special repair materials for the concrete structure. Having achieved many national, provincial and ministerial level of awards and state patents, having compiled more than ten national and professional standards and regulations.    

Structural integrity test (SIT) and in-service inspection (ISI) of containment for many nuclear power plants have been carried out since 1987, and the national standard “Structural Integrity Test of Containment for Pressurized Water Reactor Nuclear Power Plant” has been compiled, and the “study on temperature effect and pre-stress loss rule on containment structure”, and the scientific study on “the third generation containment structure model (1:10)” has been completed by the institute. Many national, ministerial, and provincial level Scientific Progress Awards and Invention Patents have been achieved.
